I was sitting in a conference room last month when someone asked, "Can anyone explain how this AI tool actually works?"

Ten people stared at their laptops. Silence.

These weren't beginners. They were smart professionals - marketers, managers, analysts. But when it came to AI, everyone felt lost. The gap between "AI is changing everything" and "I have no idea how to use it" was massive.

That's when it hit me: AI education is broken.

The Problem With AI Education

Most AI content falls into two categories:

The Technical Trap: Engineers explaining neural networks like you have a computer science degree. You leave more confused than when you started.

The Hype Machine: "AI will change EVERYTHING!" posts that sound impressive but teach you nothing practical.

What's missing? The middle ground. The place where working professionals can learn AI without feeling overwhelmed.

Think about learning to make coffee. You don't need to understand the molecular structure of caffeine to brew a great cup. You need someone to show you the method, explain why it works, and let you practice.

That's what AI education should be.

I chose coffee as the throughline for Brew & AI for a specific reason.

When I explain that "Machine Learning is like perfecting your coffee recipe through trial and error," something clicks. The confusion melts away. Suddenly, an intimidating concept becomes relatable.
